Info day on Horizon 2020 “Smart Grids and Storage”

Today has been held in Brussels the Info Day to present the calls for 'Smart Grids and Storage' projects, which will be funded under the 2016-2017 Horizon 2020 Work programme 'Secure, clean and efficient energy', and in particular under the 'Competitive low-carbon energy' (LCE) call (topics: LCE-01-2016-2017, LCE-04-2017 and LCE-05-2017). Presentations has explained the call content and the application procedure. Here is the agenda for further details. Easi: €237 million in loans from the EIF to support European micro-enterprises

The European Commission and European Investment Fund (EIF) mobilise 237 million euros in loans to support 20.000 micro-enterprises in Europe. The European Investment Fund, which manages the EaSI Guarantee on behalf of the European Commission and six microfinance institutions are signing guarantee agreements that will open up access finance for micro-enterprises. The six guarantee agreements target those who wish to start or further develop their own micro-enterprises, in particular people who have difficulties in entering the job market or in accessing finance. These first deals enabling loans contracts to microenterprises will be signed between the EIF and

  • Association pour le Droit à l'Initiative Economique (France),
  • Microfinance Ireland (Ireland),
  • PerMicro (Italy),
  • Laboral Kutxa/ Caja Laboral Popular (Spain)
