Horizon2020 Societal Challenge 2 Infoweek

The Research Executive Agency (REA), the Directorate-General for Research and Innovation (DG RTD) and the Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development (DG AGRI) of the European Commission are co-organising an Info Week on Horizon 2020 Societal Challenge 2  (SC2) ‘Food security, sustainable agriculture and forestry, marine and maritime and inland water research and the bioeconomy’, which will take place in Brussels on 14-17 November 2017.

Info day on Horizon 2020 “Smart Grids and Storage”

Today has been held in Brussels the Info Day to present the calls for 'Smart Grids and Storage' projects, which will be funded under the 2016-2017 Horizon 2020 Work programme 'Secure, clean and efficient energy', and in particular under the 'Competitive low-carbon energy' (LCE) call (topics: LCE-01-2016-2017, LCE-04-2017 and LCE-05-2017). Presentations has explained the call content and the application procedure. Here is the agenda for further details. European Week of Regions and Cities 10-13 October 2016

The European Week of Regions and Cities (OPEN DAYS) is an annual four-day event during which cities and regions showcase their capacity to create growth and jobs, implement European Union cohesion policy, and prove the importance of the local and regional level for good European governance. The event has become over time a European networking platform for experts in regional and local development. Exchange of good practice in economic development and social inclusion, cross-border cooperation, public-private partnerships, regional innovation and community-led local development have become some of its many topics. European Culture Forum 2015 – Bruxelles

The 2015 edition of the EU's flagship culture policy event will take place in Brussels in November. The forum will bring together policy experts from across Europe to take stock of progress on the European Agenda for Culture, foster debate on the EU's policy and programmes, network, and raise the profile of European cooperation in the field. The European Culture Forum is a biennial flagship event organised by the European Commission, aimed at raising the profile of European cultural cooperation, uniting the sector's key players, taking stock the European Agenda for Culture's implementation, and sparking debate on EU culture policy and initiatives. The event, also a major networking opportunity, will highlight culture's role in breeding talent and creativity. Registration to the event is open until 31st October.
